A County press release says the improvements are among “the County’s most exciting accessibility projects in the Marin County”. Danadjieva Hansen Architects, Inc. of Tiburon orchestrated the auditorium project
“900,000 visits a year can now enjoy art, fair and concert events in a "graceful 21st century setting The handsome entryway plaza, which replaced an auditorium traffic turnaround is a big new welcoming public place, eliminating a car-centric, 1960s space with a modern, people-friendly-we can hang out here. We are thrilled," says Jim Farley, county cultural affairs chief who heads Marin Center
"This project is a beautifully artistic expression of the county's extensive commitment to expanded accessibility at county facilities," said Steve Kinsey, president of the Board of Supervisors, Marin County.
