Brentwood Civic Center
DHA developed space needs corresponding to the increase of city population to 117,000 by the year 2020 and evaluated 10 possible sites. Placing the civic center at the extension of Oak Street in a beautiful park with views to the surrounding mountains was the chosen solution. The copper covered pyramid-like structure with translucent panels in diamond shaped glass echoes the roof shapes of the old buildings. The public lobby allows one-stop service to all departments and facilitates service to Brentwood citizens
