Fani Danadjieva Hansen, AIA

Architect and cofounder of Hansen Associates Architects and Planners, Fani Hansen was educated in Europe (Bulgaria, Austria, France) and the US. Her studies in architecture led to advanced studies in urban and graphic design and construction management.

Fani is a licensed architect in California, Nevada, Bulgaria and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. Fani is a corporate member of the American Institute of Architects.

Her work has been exhibited in San Francisco, Seattle, Pittsburg, Blacksburg, Paris, and Germany and is included in the National Traveling Exhibit "This Exceptional One - Women in American Architecture 1888-1988", highlighting a century of women's achievements in the architectural profession. She is the author of numerous computer programs for campus master planning, health care space planning and costing.

She designs structures that upgrade their environments and help clients to achieve high quality projects - below budget and on time.

Gary Valentine Hansen, AIA
Architect and cofounder of Hansen Associates Architects and Planners

Gary Hansen specializes in the areas of Sustainable Systems Building Design and Cost Control, consulting to the U.S. Government and private universities including the development of Cost Control Procedures for Stanford University, Master Planning for the University of Alaska, and the development of Hospital Retrofit Design Guidelines for the Veterans Administration.

Licensed as an architect in California, Alaska, Canada and the United Kingdom; certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Gary is a Corporate Member of the American Institute of Architects.

He is recipient of a Northern California AIA Award of Honor for Design Excellence, the First Award for Energy Conservation in a statewide design competition from three utilities companies.
