The Hill Side Development in San Anselmo is located on an inaccessible and "unbuildable" parcel landlocked by steep slopes and large rocks. Instead of leveling the site and removing the rocks, the design saved the natural elements and included the rocks in the living space. The spaces surround nature and are surrounded by it.
